“How much do you believe in your dream? How strong is your faith? And not just today, but for the rest of your life?” As I listen to the words of Phil, my Oscar-winning Hollywood producer, last Thursday evening, I knew exactly what he wants to convey. The solution to your dream, your desire, or your challenge is already there. All the people needed for it were probably born years ago. The necessary materials are already present on this planet. And everything else is also available. The question is: do you keep focusing on what’s missing, or are you firm in your faith that your goal and desire are possible for you, thus focusing on what’s possible rather than what might currently seem impossible?

Phil continues: “Richard Attenborough wanted to make a film about Mahatma Gandhi’s life since the 1950s. When reading Louis Fischer’s biography of Gandhi, he began to work intensively on the project. However, it wasn’t until 1980 that Richard Attenborough managed to secure the necessary financial means to start filming. The movie Gandhi was released two years later and received eight Academy Awards in 1983, including Best Picture and Best Director. Completing the film took almost 20 years, and there were countless setbacks along the way. But even though it took 20 years, people are still talking about the film 41 years later.”

Do you want to simply trust a bit more that the things you want to see as real in your life will come to you? Your ego is the only part of you that stresses about timing, as the ego wants everything immediately. But if it’s your big dream, why rush? You have a whole lifetime to get there. What if a longer duration is necessary so that the goal – or even you yourself – gains the necessary foundation to keep it without losing it again? If a person who never knew how to handle money suddenly wins the lottery, we know what will happen. Chances are extremely high that this person will lose everything again in no time. If you can’t handle a small amount of money, you won’t be able to handle a lot. Are you truly ready and “trained” to sustain and live your dream in the long term? Or do you still need one or two more “trainings” for it?

Let me share a statement with you that helped me on Monday at the world premiere of the movie “Red One” in Berlin, while I waited at what seemed to be an unfavorable spot for actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Eventually, Marjan Sailer, the head of the local event agency “Chest of wonders”, stood in front of me and said, “Everything will be fine. Just wait. He’s coming. Just wait.” As he said this, he had this grandfatherly look full of trust and confidence, which gave me great assurance. And lo and behold – The Rock came.

How strong is your faith? Not just today, but for the rest of your life? Will you stay firm in this belief that everything will be fine? Remember Marjan’s words: “Everything will be fine. Just wait. He (your dream) is coming. Just wait.”

I wish you a fantastic week and continue to firmly believe in you and your dream.
