Have I mentioned that since watching the movie Red One, I’ve started believing in Santa Claus and the delivery of gifts in just one night again? The film portrays this in such an extremely logical way that I can actually imagine it’s true. However, today isn’t really about Christmas; it’s about your real dreams and wishes. Has it ever happened to you that a colleague, a family member, or a friend—whether intentionally or accidentally—trampled on your dreams and wishes? You probably entered the conversation full of enthusiasm and left it filled with fear and doubt. Well, it seems the “Dreambusters” were at work, briefly projecting their own fears onto you. Because that’s exactly what it is—they themselves wouldn’t dare to do what you’re doing. You have the courage, they have the fear.
As I’m noticing in my surroundings, many people have their issues with autumn. Dark, gray, and cold. Not a great time to stay highly motivated about your dreams. Often, we lack drive, and our energy is hidden somewhere. That’s why it’s all the more important to be a guiding star for yourself and others. A few days ago, my friend Bene asked me, “Do you know why they call Hollywood stars ‘stars’?” “No, I have no idea.” “Well, because they shine like stars. The bigger the star, the brighter it shines.” What a beautiful thought. And you, too, can be such a star, even if you don’t seek or have any fame. Be a star where you currently are. How? It’s so simple. Let me share a wonderful WhatsApp message I received a few days ago:
Dear Mr. Gräter, I just thought of you and decided to share my thoughts. I attended your lecture at DHBW in 2016 or 2017 and was inspired by what I heard. At the end of the session, we had a conversation, and I don’t remember the exact context, but you encouraged me with such conviction and believed in me. Your words and your belief in me have given me an immense amount of strength over the years, helping me to always believe in myself. Now, as I stand on the brink of a wonderful new chapter, I am utterly fascinated and inspired by how much that conversation has supported me through all phases of doubt and how it continues to do so now, as I summon all my courage to follow my heart. I never thought the words of a stranger could hold such power, and I just wanted to say thank you. I hope we meet again someday so that you can see firsthand the incredible seeds you planted with your words. I am immensely proud of you!! I believe you are an amazing person who brings a lot of light and joy into life. Thank you for that! Namaste 🙏
With this message, I want to show you how easy it is to give hope to strangers through the right words, instead of laughing at their dreams or goals, doubting them, or seeing a devil behind every door. Believe in these people, and you’ll see that the more you believe in others and support their dreams, the more you’ll believe in yourself, and the more help will come your way.
To support you even further, I’m doing something this week that’s never been done before. I know from the bottom of my heart how much my six German online workshops can help you build, pursue, and achieve your goals and dreams. Through this, you will be seen more, heard more, and respected more. You are, at heart, a wonderful leader. You are a role model for many people (and I don’t just mean professionally) and thereby unconsciously guide their thinking and actions. Bring out this (self) leadership. Just for you: Until Anke’s birthday on 24.11.24 at 11:59 PM, you’ll receive a one-time-only 20% discount on what I consider an absolute bargain price for over 12 hours of content in my six German workshops, including workbooks and more. Do you want to make a change? Then click here, enter the promo code “Bright-Friday” (without quotes) before payment, and get the exclusive discount of the year.
Just as the movie Red One revived my belief in dreams, you, too, can support your own dream and that of others, whether through the workshops or a kind word. Believe in yourself, believe in others, and be the change you deeply wish for the world. Change begins with you and me. I believe in you!
